I'm having a problem with my HP Envy ENVY x360 - 15t-aq200 CTO laptop- it's making a buzzing noise. The laptop is a few years old now, but I haven't had a problem until recently. I saw on another person's question to update the BIOS, so I tried that and it seemed to work, but I soon as I moved the computer it started buzzing again. I'm at a loss as to how to fix it, any ideas?
My pavilion dv7-6c90us has 2 slot for hard drives. I bought a second SSD drive and connected it but my loptop does not boot when I have both hard drives connected. I need to disconnect one in order to get it to boot.
hello everytime windows 10 updates my synaptic touchpad stops working. Even when it is working it stalls and stops. I installed a synaptic toolbar icon so could reset the touchpad but it gets overwritten at each update and I am back to the same problem - no touchpad

connection issue; need to push,pull and wiggle power plug in at the laptop port until it finally responds and starts charging.
Poor design. There is nothing wrong with the power supply. Can the power port be replaced or what is an option?

recently got a hp 17y01cy with AMD Radeon r7,12gb ram and a 6gb shared memory, expecting that the VRAM will be good enough to handle all I want it to, only to find out it has only 512 Mb VRAM, please is there a way I can increase this, or a walk around for me.Image may be NSFW.

New HP Spectre. 16 GB; 13 inch. Heating up in the speaker section in parallel to turning on the fan that produces a load noice. Is this normal? I do not see a "cool control" option available in my control panel.

I really like this laptop but it's becoming slow, is it worth my trouble getting a new processer and RAM or should I just accecpt that it would be better just buying a new laptop?

I have an HP X360 14-ba175nr and the manual shows it supports a max of 16 GB ram. However, I ran the HP OS check software and it says I currently have 8GB installed in bank 0 and bank 1 is empty and max supported memory is 32 GB. Which is the correct, the manual or the HP software check. I would love to be able to upgrade to 32 GB of ram if it is possible which the HP software seems to indicate I can. Is it possible that it changed due to a bios or software update and the manual is now incorrect? Thank you very much for any info you can provide.
Hi - seeking help to determine what needs to be fixed or replaced, to avoid spending money for a solution that doesn't solve problem - this PC was purchased May 2016 & there's never been a problem with battery using either Windows 10 Home OEM or Ubuntu - I don't use battery power often - recently booted PC on battery power & proceeded to use PC, but PC suddenly shut off without warning, about 10 min. after power on.

I'm trying to resolve this issue with the battery expanding. It is distoring the housing on the computer. I don't know how to remove the battery or if that is even possible with this unit. Does anyone have suggestions?

As of right now, I am using my Mac to send this as I have the unit powered off and unplugged. I'm concerned that this may be a fire hazard as I am sure that these are lithium ion batteries.

My HP EliteBook 2570p laltop doesn't boot. Power button lights, one white LED is on and another one next to the white blinks amber-white. I have tried powering on without HDD, BIOS battery, RAM stick but the problem still persists. Cooling fans don't come on either.
I have tried BIOS Rollback but failed. Please help.
