My HP EliteBook 2570p laltop doesn't boot. Power button lights, one white LED is on and another one next to the white blinks amber-white. I have tried powering on without HDD, BIOS battery, RAM stick but the problem still persists. Cooling fans don't come on either.
I have tried BIOS Rollback but failed. Please help.
I have Purchased my laptop in the year 2015 and i have been promptly extended my warrenty (NBD) for my laptop every year, Offlate i have been facing prolem with my keyoard which is not working properly. I contacted the HP chat support and as per the instruction i have completed the trouble shooting and shared the Failure ID as well. I have been promised by the support staff that i will receive call the engineer in next 2 to 3 days to visit my house. This was happened almost 10 to 15 days ago. I waited for 5 days and again contacted the HP support and they asked me to call the customer support as they are not able to assign the ticket. Ideally i should have been commiunicated by HP about the issue rather i was forced to follow. This was case with Call support as well. Until now i am not aware of the situation as no one from HP support team contacted me for this issue.
I request the community to help me with the Grievance contact to escalate this issue.

Hi there, I have an hp pavilion 15-bc001nq and I want to replace the factory 128gb m2 sata3 ssd with a bigger one, and preferably pcie express, but I'm not sure if it's supported. I was thinking about an HP EX900 or a Samsung 970 evo. Does anyone has any experience with these two or other similar NVMe PCIe ssd's on this laptop model? Thank you!

I just purchased a Intel Optane Memory 16GB and while waiting for its arrival, I searched for installation guide but sadly, most of them are very consufing. Does anyone here has experiences installing Intel Optane? I would not prefer to reinstall my OS(this is the part where I get confused, some tutorials on website say it is required and some not).
I never change anything yet including BIOS settings and system partition type. And i currently using the default hardware, with latest Window 10 64bits installed. Any detailed ideas/guide provided will be highly appreciated.

When I open my laptop it is showing smart hard disk error. The smart hard disk check has detected an imminient failure. Then I go for system diagnostics by pressing F2 key. Then I go for system test. Then I go for extensive test. Then I click run once. Then it is showing system extensive test failed.

I'm thinking of buying 14-ck1007tu, which is said to have a sata port and an m.2 slot. I have a 480g 2.5" so I thought if I got my hands on this notebook I should install it with appropriate case and wire/pin, etc.
But The customer support said I cannot use a 2.5" ssd with m.2 already in use and that I should install an hdd instead. They said this is not because of whitelists or testing, but rather pcie lane issues. I thought if m.2 and sata share the same pcie lane, then the sata port might not connect, and this had nothing to do with what goes in the sata port like ssd or hdd. Can anybody please give me the correct answer? I will try to find the manual for this model and provide the link, but I'm already thinking there is none.

I recently purchased a new HP battery for my notebook. It initially ran fine and the HP diagonistics passed without a problem. But now, the tests show that the battery is good, but needs calibrating. I've followed all the relevant instructions to calibrate the battery but nothing works - including updating the bios and running the HP hardware diagnostics UEFI tool, yet it still will not calibrate. Please advise? Thanks.
I have an HP X360 14-ba175nr and the manual shows it supports a max of 16 GB ram. However, I ran the HP OS check software and it says I currently have 8GB installed in bank 0 and bank 1 is empty and max supported memory is 32 GB. Which is the correct, the manual or the HP software check. I would love to be able to upgrade to 32 GB of ram if it is possible which the HP software seems to indicate I can. Is it possible that it changed due to a bios or software update and the manual is now incorrect? Thank you very much for any info you can provide.

I'm having problems with the battery.. It's plugged in, but is no charging. I've tried the HP Hardware Diagnostics and the HP Support Assistant (Battery Check), but got no answer.. it says that "HP Battery Check was unable to access the battery"
I've downloaded the lastest BIOS version, but it didn't work either. And I've already tried with de Windows Device Manager (uninstalling the ACPI-Compliant). But nothing works, it's still not charging.
What can a I do? Do I have to replace the battery??

Can an ssd be added to HP ENVY TouchSmart 17-j141nr Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) to suppliment the HDD. I added a Western Digital 1TB Nand Sata to the second internal bay. The HDD Bios boot is UEFI and the Western Digital is ATA. Can these be made to communicate one with the other? If so how?
I am looking in Samsung 970 PRO M.2 SSD to upgrade my laptop. It is PCIe and NVMe and uses four PCIe 3.0 lanes. I am not sure if my laptop provides four PCIe 3.0 lanes to fit the SSD. Other option is WD Black NVMe.

I just got my HP Spectre x360 13 inch. My mute button indicator works fine not until today though. The mute still works but the light indicator not works anymore. My caps lock light indicator still works but the light for the mute button just not light up at all. I wish you could help me as soon as possible. Thank you and sorry foe inconovenience.

Contrary to appearances, two RAM modules do not mean faster operation, as many producers only set the single channel mode.
