Since yesterday I can see the led indicator of the 'f6' key (mute-unmute button) is not working. though the button is functioning i.e. I am able to mute/unmute using the button. The only issue is the led indicator is not working. Kindly suggest me how to fix this. Thanks

High memory and disk utilization
Hello,
I brought HP laptop 15s 6 months back from amazon India for my niece. She is in standard 7 and I thought the specs will be more than enough for her online classes and may be use of MS Office down the line. Its 4 GB RAM with 1 TB HDD.
The issue is its has high memory usage around 80-85% and 100% disk. Just installed whatsapp on it. I never expected it to be that slow without much going on. Not really happy with the product though, I think product should be sold keeping in mind at least with a basic usage and not to have the user waste there time to figure whats wrong and then have to go with upgrading the resources. Anyway not sure whom to blame since multiple vendors are involved now-a-days but I feel HP gets a bad reputation.
So, what are the options I've got? Are there any way to improve the performance like running some diag tools or killing unwanted processes. If not the only option is to upgrade the resources then what are my options? As I mentioned before my niece usage will be to attend online classes using Google meet, MS Office, browsing etc

Laserjet Pro 400 M451DN won't print above 300 DPI!
I have a Laserjet Pro 400 M451DN. Used casually, it seems to work just fine.
Today I wanted to print a map with finer text. Long story short, after a lot of troubleshooting, what I've discovered is that the printer is only printing at 300 DPI. If I use a test image with one pixel wide stripes in vertical and horizontal orientations, configure the source document as 300 DPI, and then print it, everything comes out exactly as I'd expect. But if I change the source document to 600 DPI, I get a solid box for each group of stripes, with absolutely no hint of lines at all whatsoever.
Printer has the latest firmware. I've tried the HP universal print driver, the default driver that Windows installs, and the five year old model-specific driver from HP. They all behave the same with respect to the print output, although each driver has different features/configuration options available.
One interesting thing is that NONE of the drivers have selectable options for print resolution. The HP universal driver ONLY has ImageREt 3600 in the "print quality" dropdown, and one of the other drivers doesn't even have any print quality options at all (other than EconoMode, which is OFF).
I also tried the source document at 450 DPI, and its clear that the printer is resampling - some of the 1 pixel lines are rendered as 2 pixels wide, some are rendered as 1 pixel wide, and others are not rendered at all.

My laptop cannot be folded. It seems the hinge has broken. HP 15AU 006 TX
My laptop top lid cannot be closed. Whenever I am trying to close it the hinge is bulging out, forcing the screen bizel to come out. My laptop model is HP PAVILION AU006TX.
I can understand that the hinge has broken. Can someone tell me the price to change the hinge(original HP part).

I have HP Pavilion x360 - 11-ad019tu that using 500 GB Hard Drive.
Now is using Windows 10 64 bit and support only by Pentium N4200.
In order to increase Laptop performance, is it possible to add SSD M2 on this series?
I'm planning to buy SSD M2 128 GB as OS and use the 500 GB HDD as the storage on the laprop.

How to get advanced tab in bios
Hi! Is there any way to turn on advanced tab in BIOS so I can change how much ram is my integrated gpu using, I have gtx 1660ti and I dont need vega 8 using 2.1gb of my ram. Vega 8 is hardly ever used(like 0 mby 1% ) cuz I use external monitor connected directly to my gtx 1660ti.

Just purchased the above.....yesterday received unexplained HP message to flash Bios....on a brand new business laptop??? Sounded risky move, so called "support" who didn't seem to understand the issues & was difficult to understand, but after much referral, he said to ignore it, but couldn't really explain why....does this strike anyone else as appalling & unprofessional?

Motherboard charging circuit burnt
Hello,
My laptop is 2.5 yrs old, purchased from USA but using in India. There is a charging problem in the laptop, I got the battery also replaced but the problem still persist. On contacting a local repor shop I got to know that the issue is with the charging circuit on the motherboard. It's parts are burnt. Therefore, kindly help me find a solution either repair or replacement of the board. I live in India. The model is HP spectre 13t x360.
