According to HP Support Assistant, I need to replace the battery of my HP Envy x360 15-cp0008. I definitely need to because the battery lasts about 2 hours, when it used to last over 7. I live in Canada for context and I need a source to find the battery model. The laptop was fine until a month ago, now it's acting up and I don't have the money to get it replaced.
I would highly appreciate it if someone were to drop me a working link in which I can buy the battery from.

I just purchased a new laptop (Envy 17) and somehow missed that it is 4 core. I was looking for a 6 or 8 core model. I'm wondering if I'm able to upgrade the Intel i7-1165G7 later to an i7 or i9 with 6 or more cores if I find out this configuration won't meet my video editing needs? I wanted to add a SSD to my NP Pavilion laptop 15-au620tx.
I checked in User Maintenance guide provided on HP support website. It is mentioned there is M.2 slot for SSD (SATA3).
I opened my laptop to check the slot but I did not find it on the motherboard.
Can any one please help me locate it or confirm if slot is there or not. I am confused if it is mentioned in manual then why it is not there on the motherboard.

Hi, my HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0008ca seems to be suffering from poor thermals. Because of this I want to clean the fans and the heatsink that is in my laptop, I also want to re-apply the thermal paste on my laptop. But the thing is, I'm not even sure if I can open up my laptop, as there isn't any obvious way to open it up. There doesn't seem to be any documentation of this laptop being opened up for adding more storage or for cleaning it.
So if anyone has anything that could help me, then thank you.

Hi there I recently bought a hp 255 g6 laptop that has came with no SSD or OS. So I have bought a Samsung 980 500g nvme m.2 SSD and I have put it in but when I try and install windows 10 with a flash usb the laptop does not recognise the SSD drive.

When i disconnect my notebook from the power, the performance drops, especially the wifi becomes slow, i have tried modifying the power preferences, updating the drivers, but nothing works, any solution?
👉When reconnecting to the power everything returns to normal, but i cannot keep it connected since i can damage the useful life of the battery.

Accordingly, I bought Western Digital WD Blue m.2 SATA SSD, 560MB/s R, 530MB/s W, 5 Y Warranty, 500GB, but I'm confused, should I migrate my Windows OS in SSD or clone it,
Please can you help me out whether migrating will be a better option or cloning Windows OS in my new SSD ?
Even please suggest me some softwares to perform the process.

The corner has recently broken on my HP Pavilion 15-au077sa laptop, despite good care being taken of it. It has only had light useage and has never been dropped.
The plastic body work cracked when closing my screen, and the whole corner came away from the main body of the laptop upon opening it again. This means I now cannot close my screen, or even move it at all for fear of it breaking further. The breakage has exposed wires and the inner hardware.
I have seen from previous comments that this is a common issue due to cheap materials used and design flaws in the laptop. This is not the quality I would expect from HP.
Any help would be much appreciated.

i thought hp notebook - 14-am065tu cpu cannot be upgraded cause it isn't socketed its soldered but look what i found a socket = 1 in task manager is it a info if your cpu can be upgraded?
