Charging cable CT #
I have HP 15 bs015dx with a 45w power cable. I think it was accidentally switched with a different power cable. Can I identify the power cord that came with my HP 15 (brand new ) by the CT number or some other way? Please help because as of now my laptop is unable to charge due to the mix up of cables.

Plugged in but not charging
Hello , I have plugged in my charger but it is showing not charging ! from the component test , i checked my battery it says passed even the ac adaptor also says its passed . but my charger led light is now blinking continuously ! i opened the battery and then again attached it but its still not working ! i am really confused ! do i have to buy another battery?

Hi,
I,m thinking in upgrade the stock 128gb M.2. SSD with a larger one, but I can`t find any information in the specs about if M.2 Slot supports only SATA or if it also support NVME.
So, will it support an M.2. NVME drive?

Hi, I want upgrade the ram and add an SSD to my laptop HP Envy M6 1102 sa, the specifications page says ram is upgradable to 16 gb ddr3. Is the installed ram 2x 4gb ram, or 1x 8gb ram)?

Ram Upgrade
I would like to upgrade my ram.
However, the 2 ram slots in my laptop are not identical, so the existing ram won't fit into the second slot.
When inspecting the ram slots I noticed that on the first slot, it is engraved "DDR4 H=4.0R" and on the second (empty) "DDR4 H=4.0S".
I can't find any information on the web regarding the differences between these slots.
Should I buy a ram stick identical to my current one with bigger capacity or is it possible to utilize the second slot?
My current ram is a 4GB DDR4 2400MHz.

AMD card not detected by the computer
Hello everyone. I have been using my laptop for 3 years without knowing that this laptop have another video card-AMD. Now when i know this and trying to install driver software, it is not installing. Device manager shows only the Intel graphics card. I also tried re-installing the driver in safe mode. Also I heard it is possible that AMD graphics card might be dead and I am now panicking.
I really hope for some useful suggestions.

HP Stream 13 - with cracked screen - will output HDMI to access BIOS?
Hello,
I have ultrabook HP Stream 13 with cracked screen that does not allow me to see anything on built in display.
I was thinking getting out my data would be easy - i opened it, and realized that HDD (in form of eMMC) is soldered onboard and i can't hook it up via USB adapter like i would normally do on SSD.
That was a problem but i don't give up because i notice HDMI port on side - i never used it so I don't know is there fault in motherboard or that's normal - when i plugged HDMI (TV) there is nothing on external screen (TV). Total darkness.
I'm wondering does it normal that it won't show anything on HDMI until it's being enabled in Windows?
In general on other laptops i see everything starting from boot up sequence and bios right after hooking up to TV.
Because here i have total blackness now i can't confirm if motherboard is working.
I read that if motherboard is faulty there will be blinking sequence of "caps lock" but here caps lock is off, and i can tooggle it on-off via caps-lock key.
There is also no HDD status indicator led, so i don't know if Windows is booting up...
I don't want to pay for screen replacement if motherboard is faulty and i won't be able to access my data.
1) Could You confirm that after hooking up HDMI screen and powering it on - it will show video output on external screen before windows boot up (bios) / boot sequence.

Upgrading HP Mini 311
Hey Everyone!
I have a pretty old hp mini 311 and I was wondering of any ways to speed it up. I currently have it on linux, but I will probably run windows 7 on it if I can get it running fast enough. When I first got it, it was on windows XP and could not open 2 windows at once without crashing. I have RAM that I can take from other old computers, and I would be willing to spend some money to make this run faster.
