Hello, I want upgrade my laptop with m2 ssd. I check (open laptop) and found m2 slot but dont know which tipe M2 ssd support. On m otherboard have m2 slot mark "65P IA" (Pavilion 15-Bc009nm). Please, does this HP accept MVMe M2 cards (example: Samsung 960/970 EVO 250gb)? Thank you

hi guys , I recently encountered a issue with my laptop battery, On some days the laptop charge stuck on 59% after a simple restart the problem is solved , but now. I thought the problem was with Windows. i changed the windows and delete battery drivers and restard And the number was increased to 61 and now battery charge stuck at 61 , i run diagnostic tool and this is my result

Hello, have a tried several tests but no luck. Full system reset, removed and installed drivers. Bios enable/disable hot keys.
Problems started to occur after a Video Card driver update from Hp. I tried to go back in history but no luck
I did the HP test, and the keyboard test failed.

im looking to upgrade my ram from 8gb to 32gb, although i have a 3 year care pack, i was wondering how do i do this and still keep my warrenty in tact?
I am having an issue with my battery no charnging when it is plugged in. I performed all the tests suggested by an HP Support agent last week and by the Virtual Agent today, I also used both the HP Support Assistant and the HP Hardware Diagnostics. All tests on the battery and adapter shows that the adapter is working properly. It also shows that battery checks out OK. I ent ahead and purchased a new adapter anyway, because the support agent was pretty convinced that it was the cause of the issue. However, even with the new adapter plugged in, I still see the following message when I mouse over the battery icon: (plugged in, not charging). The adapter is plugged into a wall outlet, not via a UPS or power strip, so that isn't the issue either. Anybody have any idea what I should try next?

I'm facing Battery Issues. Sometimes battery does not charge even though it's plugged in and sometimes it disconnects/connects frequently while charging. It also behave weirdly like in one case it is charged up to 85 % level but will get dried up in around 1hr or so. Sometimes when it is at 12-20% level and I plug in the charger, pc shuts down. Installed Memory is 16 GB and reported memory is only 12GB. I have many freeze ups and getting worse. HP scan shows memory Failure ID: MCO1B1-8RJ9AQ-MFGGRF-405403. How do I get memory info to replace the bad chip??
First off, l'm sorry if these kinds of questions gets asked 1000 times, l've looked into them and did some searching on the forums & googling, but l just want to be 100% sure.
l bought my laptop back in August 2011 (kinda old), and while it still works like a charm, it's definitely gotten slower over the years so l want to upgrade the RAM from 6GB to 8GB, and upgrade the 640GB 5400RPM HDD to a 1 TB SSD.
l know the RAM form factor is DDR3, but not so sure about memory speed and voltage. As for SSD, can l just pick any SSD or is there anything specific l need to pay attention to?
l'm interested in buying this RAM module (G.SKILL 8GB SO-DIMM DDR3 1333), and this SSD (Samsung EVO 860 1 TB) or even 2 TB if permitted.
l'm also not sure about my exact laptop model number (the characters after dv6 l usually see), so l don't know the exact specifications (all l know is Pavilion dv6t select). When l go into BIOS, l can see my Product number is LT070AV if that helps at all.

I have a j103-np and I noticed it had an open slot close to the wi-fi mPCIE board.
I've read another thread here where the user would want to upgrade his laptop having a bootable drive on that slot. That is not my case, I just want a storage capacity upgrade since this laptop already comes with a 512GB SSD. I was looking at a Kingston SUV500MS/240G, the mSATA version of course.
I read that that slot was designed for a 24/32GB mSATA to fastten up the boot time from an HDD. Can I use it to place the SSD I mentioned above? For extra storage, I do not intend to use it a bootable drive!
