I have a brand new hard drive for my HP Pavilion ZE2000 (and even my old one which might still be fine). However, everytime I try to boot, it doesn't recognize the hard drive because BIOS skips over it in the bootorder. I CAN, however, boot into the optical drive (I tried doing so to reinstall XP, but no hard drive was found). So, I don't think the MoBo is bad or fried. When I try to run a Hard Drive Test in BIOS, "no IDE detected". I reseated them about 50 times, swapping them back and forth. To sum it up...two hard drives (one brand new), but both unrecognized. What do I need to do!?!?
Thank you.
