Hard drive error
Diagnostic hard drive error; 608AJW-7AN88K-MFPV6K-60UK03.
I was using pc and it hung up. Rebooted and pc would do nothing. I ran the system diagnostic from the F2 setup and it give the above error. Is the drive toast or can it be salvaged. I tried to load options system back on but it won't read the DVD and won't give me an error.

Major Keyboard Issue With Laptop - Request Help
Hello, A customer of mine has an HP laptop model 17-g113dx
The machine at first had Windows 10 but gave her many problems which unfortunately is common with that system.
I reverted her to Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit and it was working at first but now she has this major issue with th keyboard. Everytime she types it skips and the cursor can bounce anywhere, hardly ever stays where she is typing.
Basically she cant use the laptop because of this issue. Does anyone of the forum from HP or enthusiasts now of a fix to this issue? I have not found a solution yet. I dont know if the repeate rate of the keyboard needs to be changed or something else?
Please I could really use some help here so if anyone has come across this issue before and was able to get a fix I would really appreciate it.

Need Windows 7 64bit drivers for HP M7-K11DX Notebook
I had to a complate reinstall of Windows 7 Pro with a valid product key. However, Windows 10 was loaded prior, so the drivers are not compatible. HP does not provide drivers for this model for W7, only 8.1 and 10. I am missing several drivers and have found no legitimate source to download them.
Is there anyone that can tell me where to find these drivers online from a legitimate source?

Is it unreasonable to assume that a computer hard drive would last longer than barely over one year?
Any idea why this happened or what fix options I have. Is everying on the drive -since I last backed up to my portable lost forever?

10 HP Chromebooks a week old giving the OS system problem
My school bought 56 HP Chromebooks, after a week 10 of them are giving the OS system missing or damaged. I have the recovery flashdrive. It is a new flashdrive but when pluggit the chrome starts to reading a give a new error:
An unespected error has ocurred. Please refer to this URL, for troubleshooting tips"
I used another new flashdrive, create the recovery OS and still gives me the same error.
I don't understand, how is possible that of 56 in a week 10 give me the same problem and non-of them reads the new flashdrive with OS.
Was it a bad batch? What could be the problem?
We have 260 Acer and Samsung chromebooks for 3 years and maybe 2 gave me this problem, put the recovery and they are working fine.

The left half of my screen slightly grays and can only be remedied by pulling the left half forward and holding (as seen in picture). If you leave it alone for a while, the screen will totally gray out or go white-gray over time. Sometimes the screen can be positioned to work, but often not..
Note that when hooked to an external monitor, the monitor does not show these problems and displays the desktop with
no problems (Cursor moves fine and everything).
I feel like the issue is the screen but it displays perfect picture at these certain angles...
Could it be the display cable?

GPU ubgrade for hp Elitebook 8570p
Dear forum visitors,
I was wondering if I could upgrade my hp elitebook 8570p so it can have a discreet GPU. It's using intel HD grapics now, but I would love to get better video performance. I've read some posts on the internet already about this subject and I found that the upgrade options are limited to quadro cards, which aren't really price-performance ratio for what I intent to use them for. is there a way to upgrade it with amd / nvidia cards and between which cards can I chose?

probook 4530s not charging

iam having a problem charging my battery, the charger works fine when the battery isnt inserted but when i insert it , it prioritize the battery and run the laptop on it without charging it and when i try to insert the battery and try to charge it while the pc is off .. it doesnt
is there a way to fix that ?

Keyboard typing two different characters at once
Whenever I type certain characters another character will pop up with it. For example, I try to type "L" and when I'm not using the onscreen keyboard it types as ";L". There are several different keys this is happening to but it is not happening with every key. This just started about 30 minutes ago. I cleaned my keyboard and it started malfunctioning about 10 minutes after

Laptop battery not charging and battery charge LED shows white when power unplugged
HP g6-1b60us Notebook PC
Here is the situation and symptoms.
- Battery not charging. Battery icon indicates battery being charged, but it sits at 5%. Have bought a replacement HP battery and that battery will not charge also (it sits at 50%, which I assume is the initial charge it came with).
- Run the HP Support Assistant and both batteries fail the test saying that cell 4 is bad (cells 1 to 3 have charge, but cell 4 has a 0 reading, even in the new battery). (Is there a problem accessing/charging cell 4?)
- When the battery is installed and the AC adaptor is unplugged, and the laptop is turned off, the battery charge LED shows a white LED (red/amber indicates that it is charging the battery); now the only time the LED goes out is when the battery is physically removed. Before the problem began, the battery charge LED would be off when the battery was installed and the charger was not being used. Now the battery charge LED goes off only when the battery is physically removed.
What I have tried:
- Cleaned the contacts.
- Bought a new HP battery.
- Tried the complete discharge method of turning the laptop off, removing the power cord and battery and holding the power on key for over 30 seconds.
- Have done safe restarts.
- Reset to HP recommended settings.

HP Spectre x360 laptop - 15.6 inch in Ash Silver?
Hello,
I am very interested in purchasing an HP Spectre x360 laptop; however, I have been waiting for several months in hopes for the 15.6 inch version to become available in the Ash Silver color.
Currently, only the 13.3 inch Spectre comes in Ash Silver (which is a brown color with gold accent designs). I have contacted HP sales representatives and unfortunately they are not privy to this information. They did state that they've received a large volume of inquiries and interest in this specific Ash Silver laptop color, so it seems like more people than just myself would like to see other laptop options available in this color combination.
If there are plans to manufacture the 15.6 inch HP Spectre laptop in the Ash Silver color in the near future, could you please let me know? I desperately need a new laptop but have been holding out until the 15.6 inch Spectre x360 is available in the Ash Silver color I want. I'd rather not continue waiting if there is no chance the larger laptop will be produced in this color.
